Noun Town

Students worked with in partners to create 'Noun Town'. They drew a city and then labeled the nouns in the picture. We discovered there are lots of nouns around us!

We have been exploring the needs of plants through our apple study. We have tested, measured and labeled apples. We love apples!

Fire Safety Month

October was fire safety month and we were lucky to have our Apple Creek Fire Department come to speak to us about fire safety. We even got to take a tour of the truck! Thank you for helping us to stay safe.

Look at my writers!!

Our class loves to write! They get so excited when I tell them to get their journals. It is truly amazing how they have grown since the beginning of the year. I remember when they couldn't think of things to write. Now they can't stop writing. We are working hard to develop our writing now. We are focusing on writing complete sentences. I can't wait to see how this makes their writing even better.

Gobstopper Watchers
